Punt and Dennis
Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis are a long running sketch comedy duo, stars of BBC Radio 4's The Now Show and It's Been a Bad Week (BBC Radio 2). They first found fame as one half of legendary cult sketch show 'The Mary Whitehouse Experience' before going onto a sketch show from 1994-1995 called The Imaginatively Titled Punt and Dennis Show. Since then their reputations as both writers and performers have grown enormously. In 2007 they performed a UK tour of their comedy called Stuff and Nonsense. In 2011 they toured 'They Should Get Out More' and in 2014 they embarked on a new UK comedy tour called 'Ploughing on Regardless'. Their brand of sharp satirical comedy can currently be enjoyed on BBC2's Mock The Week, where Steve is a principal writer and Hugh appears regularly as a guest panellist. Steve is a widely acclaimed comedy and screenwriter and Hugh has starred in acclaimed sit coms Outnumbered, Not Going Out, and Fleabag.
