Described by Rob Brydon as a ‘remarkable new talent’ and by Jon Culshaw as ‘absolutely superb’, Josh Berry is fast achieving worldwide recognition for his impressions. He is now doing a nationwide standup show which has been described by The Evening Standard as ‘pitch perfect’.
His latest ‘In Auditorium cum Hubris’ toured the UK and had 18 sell out dates including two at The Clapham Grand. He is going to be touring again in 2023 with a brand new show.
In 2018 he performed on multiple episodes for Dead Ringers (BBCR4) and Newsjack (BBCR4Xtra), voicing a sketch on Tracey Ullman’s hit BBC1 show Tracey Breaks the News and taken his debut show, Voice Thief, to the Edinburgh festival with a huge number of sell-out performances. He's also performed on multiple episodes of The Now Show.
Josh was invited onto BBC Five Live Radio and ESPN television coverage of Wimbledon and has since recorded a variety of impressions clips with Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Nick Kyrgios.
He returned to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019 with his latest show "Josh Berry: Who Does He Think He Is?". Just like his 2018 show, it had a highly successful run. Josh did a limited sold out run with the Fringe in 2022.
Josh is currently starring in his self-written series, Josh Berry’s Fake News Podcast, produced by Union Jack Radio, available to listen on Spotify. It was nominated for a British Podcast award in 2020 and has more recently been nominated for Best Comedy Podcast in Channel 4 National Comedy Awards alongside The Adam Buxton Podcast and Off Menu.
He has recently interviewed Louis Theroux in front of a sold out crowd at the Shoreditch Town Hall.
Racking up millions of views on his Instagram over the pandemic, Josh developed the character ‘Rafe Hubris’, ‘the Conservative Party’s most classic advisor’. With this character he has written a book, ‘Staggering Hubris’, to be released in November.
