Dubbed “the kings of satirical comedy” by the Guardian, Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis are a long-running sketch comedy duo and stars of BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show and Radio 2’s It’s Been a Bad Week.
They first found fame as one half of legendary cult sketch show The Mary Whitehouse Experience before going onto create the 1994-1995 Imaginatively Titled Punt and Dennis Show. Since then their reputations as both writers and performers have grown enormously.
Their brand of sharp, satirical comedy reached a mainstream audience on BBC2’s Mock The Week, for which Steve was a principal writer and Hugh a primary panellist. Steve is a prolific comedy and screenwriter and Hugh has starred in acclaimed sitcoms Outnumbered, Not Going Out, and Fleabag.
