A versatile singer/organist from Sheffield, John Shuttleworth has a cult following and a number of impressive credits under his belt.

With help from his next-door neighbour-cum-agent Ken Worthington, and culinary and spousal support from his wife Mary, John has been touring the UK with his quirky tunes and beloved Bontempi keyboard for decades, culminating in sixteen recorded music projects, five radio shows (including six series of The Shuttleworths on Radio 4 spanning 1993-2010) a BBC Two four-part rockumentary named 500 Bus Stops and two feature-length film projects; It’s Nice Up North and Southern Softies.

This year, John has performed at over fifty venues across the UK with his 40th anniversary Raise the Oof! tour, boasting several sold-out shows (a standard set by all his previous tours) and solidifying his “national treasure” status, according to The Guardian. In March, he released John Shuttleworth Takes the Biscuit, featuring stories, song lyrics and cartoons. Notable Shuttleworth hits include I Can’t Go Back to Savoury Now and Two Margarines.
