Ayesha Hazarika MBE is a political commentator and stand-up comedian. After eight years as a senior advisor in the Labour party she remains a sought-after political commentator, having written for the Financial Times, the Guardian, the Standard and Grazia, and appearing on GMB, Newsnight, Sky News and The Andrew Marr Show.

2017 and 2018 saw Ayesha bringing two hit shows to the table at the Edinburgh Fringe, The State of the Nation and Girl on Girl, both of which hit the stage on tour in the UK, and the latter contributing to her being awarded The Eastern Eye for Comedy award in 2018.
